Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and travel to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife destinations. The park is renowned for its ancient baobab trees, diverse landscapes, and the largest concentration of elephants in the country.

Enjoy a game drive through the park while searching for elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and a variety of bird species. Later, enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the Tarangire River and surrounding wildlife.

After an afternoon game drive, continue to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 – Lake Manyara National Park & Ngorongoro

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. Famous for its beautiful landscapes, groundwater forests, and diverse wildlife, the park is home to elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, baboons, and blue monkeys.

Lake Manyara is also well known for its tree-climbing lions and large numbers of flamingos that gather along the lakeshore during certain seasons. The park offers exceptional scenery and excellent photographic opportunities.

In the afternoon, proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Ngorongoro Crater & Return to Arusha

Start the day early and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a wildlife game drive. Often referred to as one of Africa’s natural wonders, the crater supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, flamingos, and the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before continuing with a final game drive across the crater floor.

Later, ascend the crater and return to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
