Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Tarangire National Park
Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha before departing for Tarangire National Park. Known for its spectacular scenery, Tarangire features ancient baobab trees, vast savannahs, and diverse wildlife habitats.
The park is famous for its large elephant population and excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. During your game drive, you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, leopards, and numerous bird species.
After an exciting day exploring the park, you will proceed to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2 – Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
Enjoy a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park with more opportunities to observe wildlife in their natural habitat. Later, enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the river and surrounding landscapes.
In the afternoon, travel through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful destination renowned for its tree-climbing lions and stunning scenery. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and relax before dinner.
Day 3 – Lake Manyara National Park & Return to Arusha
After breakfast, depart for a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Despite its relatively small size, the park offers incredible biodiversity, featuring lush forests, open plains, and the beautiful soda lake.
Wildlife commonly seen includes elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, baboons, blue monkeys, and a wide variety of birdlife. The park is also famous for flamingos along the lakeshore and its rare tree-climbing lions.
Following lunch, enjoy a final game drive before beginning your journey back to Arusha. Arrival is expected in the late afternoon.
